The story behind
The Béarn pays tribute to the South-West region of France and is part of a collection featuring the names of different French regions. Bleu thalassa is deep sea blue, nearly navy in low light and much brighter outdoors.

Fauve Barenia Faubourg is the leather I'd choose every time. It smells incredible and it changes as you use it.
Palladium against tan is cooler than the obvious gold pairing and I like the contrast.
Rose purple is hard to photograph. Mine reads pink indoors and definitely purple in daylight, which took me a while to get used to.
Palladium keeps it from going too girlish. Good call.
