This extremely supple, sophisticated leather is named after Jonathan Swift, the author of Gulliver's Travels, to highlight its resemblance to Gulliver calfskin, which is no longer featured in today's collections.

First appeared in the collections: 2004

The story behind

There's now a strap for mini bags! Made in leather, the Bricole model – designed for the Kelly II mini and Bolide 1923 mini – allows you to transform your bags into evening essentials that can be worn over the shoulder with distinctive elegance. Adding a sophisticated touch, a wide leather loop acts as a shoulder strap, allowing you to easily adjust its length thanks to the two equestrian buttons.

    I wore my mini Bolide on this to a dinner and it sat exactly where I wanted without sliding off a silk shoulder, which most straps fail at.

    Noir hides the scuffs that Swift will inevitably collect, which makes it the sensible colour in a leather that is not sensible.

Sun is a proper yellow, not mustard, not lemon. Monsieur leather has this stiff grainy feel that keeps the shape sharp even when it's empty.
