The story behind
Launched in 1967, the Constance bag - named after the creator’s daughter - gives its shape to the line of wallets revealing the ingenious H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts up and releases the flap to open it. The wicker is tightly woven and much more rigid than I expected, so the bag keeps its shape without any help. Box calf on the flap and corners will scratch and mine already has fine lines on the flap. It came with the strap so I wear it across the body at markets and it gets looked at constantly.
