Emblematic of Hermès, this calfskin took its name from the "Box" tanning technique that originated in England and which uses a specific skill to give the leather a particular hand and appearance, bringing the richly deep, dark hues to life.

First appeared in the collections: 1920s

The story behind

Created in 1970, the Fonsbelle bag was named by Henri d'Origny, its iconic creator and designer, after the place where the family château was located. This season, it's reinvented with a chain strap featuring large links with a clasp design. Its curved shape adds a touch of elegance and highlights the cleverly designed clasp that opens with a single fluid motion. For a finishing touch, a mirror is inserted into one of the compartments.
