This extremely supple, sophisticated leather is named after Jonathan Swift, the author of Gulliver's Travels, to highlight its resemblance to Gulliver calfskin, which is no longer featured in today's collections.

The story behind

A small archipelago off the coast of Brittany, the Glenan Islands have become a small leather goods line featuring graphic details inspired by the nautical world. The signature clasp recalls the closure on the iconic Chaine d'Ancre bracelet. Combining a bar with a buckle, it adds elegance to three everyday accessories: a jewelry case with several compartments lined with silk to protect your finest jewelry; a clutch adorned with a thin removable strap to allow it to be worn across the body, perfect for short breaks; a compact purse composed of two compartments to hold cards and coins.     I use it for travel because there's no card slot structure to fight with. Notes fold into the main compartment, foreign coins go in the snap purse, and at 10.5 by 8 it fits in the seat pocket without me losing it.
