Named after Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver's Travels, to highlight its resemblance to the now-discontinued Gulliver calfskin. Swift is a fine, semi-smooth leather that absorbs dye beautifully, resulting in radiant colors.

The story behind
Designed in 1923 for top drivers and long-distance travelers, this globe-trotting bag slips easily into any trunk. The zip fastener, brought back from America by Émile Hermès at the end of the 1910s, give it its legendary round-angled shape, and allow for quick access to the content. The Bolide bag comes in a travel bag and many-sized handbags.

27 with only 9.5 of depth so it's flatter than a 31 and sits nicer under the arm. Fits a slim laptop, wallet, glasses.

Bleu frida is a bright cornflower blue and Swift makes it look saturated in a way Togo would not. It's the colour that made me buy it.
