The story behind

Designed in 1923 for top drivers and long-distance travelers, this globe-trotting bag slips easily into any trunk. The zip fastener, brought back from America by Émile Hermès at the end of the 1910s, give it its legendary round-angled shape, and allow for quick access to the content. The Bolide bag comes in a travel bag and many-sized handbags.

I wanted a Bolide I could actually wear across the body without thinking and this is it. Togo means I am not precious about it, the zip closes fully, and 28 by 21.5 by 10.5 takes my tablet and a lunch. Box, lock set and receipt all came with it.

The messenger strap adjusts from 95 all the way to 138 so it works over a coat too. That flexibility sold me.
