Unlike other leathers, Epsom is an embossed leather, meaning its grain is pressed into the leather rather than being a natural feature. This gives it a rigid structure, making it highly scratch-resistant and easy to clean.

The story behind

Launched in 1967, the Constance bag - named after the creator’s daughter - gives its shape to the line of wallets revealing the ingenious H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts up and releases the flap to open it. Perfect day-to-day companions, depending on their design, these wallets with contemporary features can be slipped into your bag, carried on the shoulder or worn as a belt.

    Bought it second thoughts and all because I already have a Constance with gold hardware and thought this would be redundant. It isn't. The enamel changes the whole feel of the bag and I reach for this one on weekends when the metal one feels too dressy.

I nearly went for etoupe and I'm glad I didn't, this is warmer and it works with the browns and creams I actually wear. The Togo grain gives it a bit of texture so it doesn't look flat in the tan, and after four months there's no real wear.
