The story behind

Launched in 1967, the Constance bag - named after the creator’s daughter - gives its shape to the line of wallets revealing the ingenious H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts up and releases the flap to open it. Perfect day-to-day companions, depending on their design, these wallets with contemporary features can be slipped into your bag, carried on the shoulder or worn as a belt.

The whole point is that you can wear it across the body or around the waist and the strap that came with it does both. 22 by 17 by 7.5 takes a phone, a card case, keys and a small makeup pouch. I wore it around a theme park for nine hours and forgot it was there.

Sellier in Epsom means the whole thing is architectural. Corners are sharp, nothing sags, and after eight years mine still stands up on its own. The two greys are close enough that you only notice the contrast up close. Rain cover and strap came with it, no box though.
