Named after Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver's Travels, to highlight its resemblance to the now-discontinued Gulliver calfskin. Swift is a fine, semi-smooth leather that absorbs dye beautifully, resulting in radiant colors.

The story behind

Launched in 1967, the Constance bag - named after the creator’s daughter - gives its shape to the line of wallets revealing the ingenious H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts up and releases the flap to open it. Perfect day-to-day companions, depending on their design, these wallets with contemporary features can be slipped into your bag, carried on the shoulder or worn as a belt.

    Soufre is a mustard yellow, deeper and dustier than lemon. In Swift it looks soft rather than bright.

I bought the ecru one first and spent six months worrying about it. This one goes on the bag I actually carry to work and I have stopped thinking about dirt entirely. The kraft brown reads almost tan under warm light. Only note is that black wool shows white pet hair, so pick your poison.
