Named after Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver's Travels, to highlight its resemblance to the now-discontinued Gulliver calfskin. Swift is a fine, semi-smooth leather that absorbs dye beautifully, resulting in radiant colors.

The story behind

Launched in 1967, the Constance bag - named after the creator’s daughter - gives its shape to the line of wallets revealing the ingenious H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts up and releases the flap to open it. Perfect day-to-day companions, depending on their design, these wallets with contemporary features can be slipped into your bag, carried on the shoulder or worn as a belt.

    Swift takes pale colours in a way Epsom can't, the pink looks deeper and less flat. That said this thing is delicate. Four months in and there are two small marks on the back panel from my coat buttons. I'd still choose it again. 18.5 by 15 holds a phone, cards and a lip balm and nothing else.
