The story behind

Launched in 1967, the Constance bag - named after the creator’s daughter - gives its shape to the line of wallets revealing the ingenious H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts up and releases the flap to open it. Perfect day-to-day companions, depending on their design, these wallets with contemporary features can be slipped into your bag, carried on the shoulder or worn as a belt.

    I bought this for my fortieth and told myself I was allowed something ridiculous. Turns out a small yellow bag is not ridiculous, it's just cheerful. 4.5 deep means phone and cards only, but I wasn't buying it for the cargo space. The little mirror lives in it permanently.
