The story behind

Launched in 1967, the Constance bag - named after the creator’s daughter - gives its shape to the line of wallets revealing the ingenious H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts up and releases the flap to open it. Perfect day-to-day companions, depending on their design, these wallets with contemporary features can be slipped into your bag, carried on the shoulder or worn as a belt.

    Palladium hardware on an argent bag means it is tonal all the way through, which is what I wanted after years of high contrast bags. The mini is 4.5 deep so you learn what fits fast. Phone, two cards, a lipstick. The mirror came with it and lives inside permanently.

    Argent Chevre is a proper silver grey with that fine goatskin grain. It catches light in a way smooth leathers do not.
