The story behind

Launched in 1967, the Constance bag - named after the creator’s daughter - gives its shape to the line of wallets revealing the ingenious H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts up and releases the flap to open it. Perfect day-to-day companions, depending on their design, these wallets with contemporary features can be slipped into your bag, carried on the shoulder or worn as a belt.

    I nearly bought the palladium version and I am so glad I waited. The rose gold H is warmer without being yellow, and on etoupe Epsom it just looks softer than anything else I own. Tiny bag though. Phone, cards, lipstick, done. Do not expect miracles at 4.5cm deep.

    Rose gold hardware is rarer than the usual two and against etoupe it goes slightly pink in the right light.
