Lizard skin is a rare and precious exotic leather prized for its small, symmetrical scales and high-shine finish. Hermès uses Niloticus lizard from the Nile river.

The story behind

Launched in 1967, the Constance bag - named after the creator’s daughter - gives its shape to the line of wallets revealing the ingenious H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts up and releases the flap to open it. Perfect day-to-day companions, depending on their design, these wallets with contemporary features can be slipped into your bag, carried on the shoulder or worn as a belt.

    Ombre lizard means the shading runs light to dark down the flap and no two are the same, which is the whole appeal for me.

Took it as my personal item on a long flight and it slid under the seat with room to spare. 11 of depth means a kindle, a scarf and a water bottle standing upright. Togo came off the plane looking untouched, which is more than I can say for me.
