The story behind

Launched in 1967, the Constance bag - named after the creator’s daughter - gives its shape to the line of wallets revealing the ingenious H-shaped clasp: the central bar lifts up and releases the flap to open it.     I collect exotics slowly and this is the one I show people. Ombre lizard means no two are alike, mine has a warmer band across the flap that the one in the store did not. Gold hardware makes the whole thing look like jewellery. At 4.5 deep it is an evening bag, no arguing.
