Took it as a carry on to Tokyo and stuffed it stupid. Two jumpers, a laptop, snacks and a coat folded over the top and it still stood upright. The vertical pockets held my passport and phone so I was not rummaging at every gate. Canvas came home dusty and brushed clean.
