Named after the African country, reflecting the "Africa" theme of the year it was created (1997). Togo is a grained leather made from baby calf skin. It is extremely popular due to its scratch resistance and ability to hold its shape.

    Packed it for four nights and it swallowed everything, clothes, shoes, wash bag and a laptop, and the Togo has enough give that I could overstuff the top. Fully loaded it is heavy on one arm though, and the tall handles mean it hangs low if you are short.

    The 40 is enormous and that is entirely the point. Gris misty is a soft cool grey that does not read as blue.
