Ostrich skin is a precious leather identifiable by its follicles, from which feathers grow. Hermès flattens these follicles and triples the skin to create a material with a unique, two-tone appearance.

    2.5cm deep is thin even for a clutch, so it is a phone, a card case and a folded note situation. No hardware anywhere which I actually prefer for evening. Came in the box with the dustbag and the ostrich still has that slight sheen on the quills.
