Named in tribute to the daughter of the designer who introduced it into the collections, this leather was developed for luggage and is the ultimate example of a grained leather that has been drummed. This process softens the skin and brings a generous grain to the surface.

The story behind
A bohemian saddlebag and gipsy game-bag, the Jypsière mixes the traditional hunting bag and the renowned Birkin. With its handy pockets and removable straps, its signature girths and tabs this world-traveling, impish piece is prone to mind-wandering.
Clemence on a bag this size gets heavy and slouches a lot. Mine has folded in on itself over the years and I do not mind, but plenty of people would.

Only a shoulder strap came with mine, which for a Jypsiere is the important bit at least.

Ultraviolet is a proper purple, quite blue in daylight and much deeper under lamps.

Had it since it was new and it has been to more airports than I can count. The Clemence went soft years ago and now it packs down almost flat in a suitcase. I had the strap edges seen to at one point because they were starting to fray. Ultraviolet still stops people.

The 34 is huge. 34 by 26 by 15 and I have used it as a weekend bag more than once.
