Sellier construction in Tadelakt makes it look like it was cut out of one block. The gold hardware is the only bright thing on it and against the flat black it reads like jewellery. I use it for dinners and never in the rain, which limits it, but that was always the plan.

Tadelakt in black is matte and dense and it looks nothing like Box calf. No shine, just depth.
