Unlike other leathers, Epsom is an embossed leather, meaning its grain is pressed into the leather rather than being a natural feature. This gives it a rigid structure, making it highly scratch-resistant and easy to clean.

The story behind

Created in the 1930s, the Kelly bag was named in 1956 when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco unveiled it to the world. Its shape and iconic details have since been adapted and redesigned to create small leather goods. Straps, claps, padlocks, leather bells and keys enhance wallets, coin purses or pouches that can be worn in many different ways.

    I wore this to a Christmas dinner and it was the only red thing I had on which was plenty. The color is dark enough to work year round though, I've had it out in April with a beige coat and it looked right. Strap came with it but I mostly carry it by the handle.

    Rouge de Coeur is a deep blue leaning red and it's much richer than the brighter reds. Gold hardware makes it look almost jewel like.
