Named in tribute to the daughter of the designer who introduced it into the collections, this leather was developed for luggage and is the ultimate example of a grained leather that has been drummed. This process softens the skin and brings a generous grain to the surface.

The story behind

Created in the 1930s, the Kelly bag was named in 1956 when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco unveiled it to the world. Its shape and iconic details have since been adapted and redesigned to create small leather goods. Straps, claps, padlocks, leather bells and keys enhance wallets, coin purses or pouches that can be worn in many different ways.

    Everyone warned me about a white bag and they weren't wrong. One denim transfer on the back already and it's only been six months. Worth it though, because Clemence at 28 slumps just slightly and looks lived in rather than precious. Clochette and keys all came with it.
