Unlike other leathers, Epsom is an embossed leather, meaning its grain is pressed into the leather rather than being a natural feature. This gives it a rigid structure, making it highly scratch-resistant and easy to clean.

The story behind

Created in the 1930s, the Kelly bag was named in 1956 when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco unveiled it to the world. Its shape and iconic details have since been adapted and redesigned to create small leather goods. Straps, claps, padlocks, leather bells and keys enhance wallets, coin purses or pouches that can be worn in many different ways.

    My SA called on a Tuesday and I did not even ask what colour first. Etoupe 28 sellier in Epsom is what I would have picked anyway. Stiffer than my Togo bags, no slouch at all. Took getting used to. Now I like that it stands up on its own.
