These are the most precious and exclusive exotic leathers used by Hermès. Porosus crocodile and Niloticus crocodile feature symmetrical scales and come in shiny (Lisse) or matte finishes. Alligator comes from the Mississippi river and is renowned for its larger scales and intense color depth.

The story behind
Created in the 1930s, the Kelly bag was named in 1956 when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco unveiled it to the world. Its shape and iconic details have since been adapted and redesigned to create small leather goods. Straps, claps, padlocks, leather bells and keys enhance wallets, coin purses or pouches that can be worn in many different ways.

Had the corners buffed last year since a decade of use had dulled them slightly, took the SA weeks to get it scheduled though.

35 is properly big, I use it for documents and a laptop sleeve. Sellier stitching keeps it looking formal even loaded up.

A 35 in shiny porosus is a statement whether you want it to be or not. The scales get smaller toward the top of the flap and the gloss is deep rather than plasticky. Mine is a 2015 so the shine has softened a fraction, which honestly suits it.
