The story behind

Originally created in the 1930s by Robert Dumas as a 'Sac à dépêches', the bag achieved legendary status in 1956 when Grace Kelly, the Princess of Monaco, used it to shield her pregnancy from paparazzi. Hermès subsequently renamed the bag the 'Kelly'.

    Bleu Tempete is a stormy grey blue and Evercolor gives it a slight sheen so it shifts as you move. Very good in autumn.

I keep mine inside a bigger bag for loose change and headphones. The Epsom means the pale colour survives being at the bottom under a water bottle. Snap is firm, no accidental openings, and it hasn't loosened after about a year.
