Named after Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver's Travels, to highlight its resemblance to the now-discontinued Gulliver calfskin. Swift is a fine, semi-smooth leather that absorbs dye beautifully, resulting in radiant colors.

The story behind

Originally created in the 1930s by Robert Dumas as a 'Sac à dépêches', the bag achieved legendary status in 1956 when Grace Kelly, the Princess of Monaco, used it to shield her pregnancy from paparazzi. Hermès subsequently renamed the bag the 'Kelly'.

22 by 17 by 7.5 and I can get a phone, a slim wallet, keys, sunglasses and a small water bottle in there. Wore it across the body around a market for four hours and my shoulder never complained.
