The story behind

Originally created in the 1930s by Robert Dumas as a 'Sac à dépêches', the bag achieved legendary status in 1956 when Grace Kelly, the Princess of Monaco, used it to shield her pregnancy from paparazzi. Hermès subsequently renamed the bag the 'Kelly'.

    The verso thing gets me every time. Etoupe outside, then you open it and there's this new white lining staring back. Evercolor is lighter than I expected too, I carried it around a museum for four hours and my shoulder never complained.
