The story behind

Designed in 1923 by Emil-Maurice Hermès for his wife, the Bolide was the first bag to feature a zip closure, inspired by the zips he saw on car hoods during a trip to Canada. It was designed as a travel bag for the modern era.

    The two greens together are wild. Vertigo is that acid green and mangrove is the darker one, and in daylight they fight a little in a way I enjoy.
