The story behind

Created in the 1930s, the Kelly bag was named in 1956 when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco unveiled it to the world. Its shape and iconic details have since been adapted and redesigned to create small leather goods. Straps, claps, padlocks, leather bells and keys enhance wallets, coin purses or pouches that can be worn in many different ways.

Graphie pieces divide people. My mother asked why there is a letter on my bag. I told her it is my initial and she still thinks it is odd. I love it. Sombrero has a different sheen to the Epsom next to it and you only notice up close.

I bought this one used from a seller in Paris and it arrived with the strap, the lock set and the felt but no box, which the listing did say. Corners were clean. The Clemence has slouched a fraction at the base and honestly it suits a 2018 bag.
