Named after Jonathan Swift, author of Gulliver's Travels, to highlight its resemblance to the now-discontinued Gulliver calfskin. Swift is a fine, semi-smooth leather that absorbs dye beautifully, resulting in radiant colors.

The story behind

Created in the 1930s, the Kelly bag was named in 1956 when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco unveiled it to the world. Its shape and iconic details have since been adapted and redesigned to create small leather goods. Straps, claps, padlocks, leather bells and keys enhance wallets, coin purses or pouches that can be worn in many different ways.

I got this second hand and it came with the strap and lock set but no box, which I expected. At 32 by 22 by 11.5 it takes a laptop sleeve and a folder...More
I got this second hand and it came with the strap and lock set but no box, which I expected. At 32 by 22 by 11.5 it takes a laptop sleeve and a folder easily. The canvas has held up better than the black Swift trim, which has darkened at the corners.
