The story behind

Designed in 1923 for top drivers and long-distance travelers, this globe-trotting bag slips easily into any trunk. The zip fastener, brought back from America by Émile Hermès at the end of the 1910s, give it its legendary round-angled shape, and allow for quick access to the content. The Bolide bag comes in a travel bag and many-sized handbags.

    18 wide and 8 deep, so my phone, a small wallet and keys. The strap lets me wear it across the body which is why I use it more than my bigger bags.

It came with the strap, the lock set and the CITES certificate but no box. I wore it to an anniversary dinner and my husband said I looked like I was off to a coronation, which I took as a win. A sellier 25 in exotic is not subtle and I did not want subtle.
