Unlike other leathers, Epsom is an embossed leather, meaning its grain is pressed into the leather rather than being a natural feature. This gives it a rigid structure, making it highly scratch-resistant and easy to clean.

The story behind

Created in the 1930s, the Kelly bag was named in 1956 when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco unveiled it to the world. Its shape and iconic details have since been adapted and redesigned to create small leather goods. Straps, claps, padlocks, leather bells and keys enhance wallets, coin purses or pouches that can be worn in many different ways.

    I have wanted a mini Kelly for years and thought I would want the black one. Then I saw etoupe with gold in daylight and changed my mind on the spot. It holds almost nothing at 12.5 tall and 5.5 deep, but it is the bag I take when I want to feel put together with no effort at all.

    Etoupe with gold hardware on a mini Kelly is warmer than the palladium version and it makes the taupe look almost sandy.
