Unlike other leathers, Epsom is an embossed leather, meaning its grain is pressed into the leather rather than being a natural feature. This gives it a rigid structure, making it highly scratch-resistant and easy to clean.

The story behind

Created in the 1930s, the Kelly bag was named in 1956 when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco unveiled it to the world. Its shape and iconic details have since been adapted and redesigned to create small leather goods. Straps, claps, padlocks, leather bells and keys enhance wallets, coin purses or pouches that can be worn in many different ways.

    I resisted the mini for ages because I thought 19 across would be useless. It is small, obviously. But my phone slides in, a slim card case, a key and a tiny lip balm, and then I stop. Epsom means it never sags so it looks the same shape at the end of the day as it did in the morning.
