The story behind

This timeless and minimalist bindle is inspired by horse feeders and is equipped with a discreet padlock. It takes its name from an old French term for the measure of oats given to a horse. MM is the right size. 22 by 22 by 18 takes a water bottle, a pouch, an umbrella and my lunch without looking stuffed.

Hand carry only and the MM gets heavy once it is loaded, so my arm complains by the afternoon. Still my most used bag this year.

Took this on a weekend trip instead of a proper duffel since it's big enough at 22 by 22 by 18 to fit a change of clothes, toiletries and a paperback, and the hand carry only situation is annoying through an airport but I managed with a tote alongside it.

Bleu tie is darker than bleu jean, more of a navy with a bit of life to it. In Clemence it goes nearly black in the evening.
