The story behind

Created in the 1930s, the Kelly bag was named in 1956 when Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco unveiled it to the world. Vert Cypress with gris perle in matte alligator is the most restrained exotic combination I could think of and permabrass finishes it perfectly.

Special order and I chose permabrass over gold because I wanted something that looked older. Against the cypress green it has an antique warmth that polished hardware would have ruined. Only the shoulder strap came with mine which for a special order felt a bit thin.
