Negonda calfskin is the only Hermès leather obtained through shrinking. Prior to tanning, the skins are given a treatment that makes them contract. What they lose in size they gain in density, and their natural characteristics are accentuated. The wrinkles are marked, and the grain is firm and irregular.

Appearance: Deeply grained; quite matt; "comforting"

Feel: Dry

Hand: Round; quite responsive

Change over time: Becomes slightly satiny and more supple

The story behind

Exuding casual, sporty elegance, the Garden Party bag is the ultimate tote. The signature straps allow you to carry it by hand or slip it over the handle of your luggage. On the sides, Clou de Selle snap closures adjust the size of the bag's opening and its capacity. In canvas and leather or all-leather, the Neo Garden offers a more contemporary structure with enlarged strips on the sides and back, in a new, smaller size. An all-season getaway companion for urban adventures.
